Growth Marketing Director – Amazon Focus
Role Overview
Eva is seeking a hands-on, visionary Growth Marketing Director with deep expertise in the Amazon ecosystem. This leader will architect and execute Eva’s growth strategy, blending content-driven marketing, digital advertising, and partnership building. The ideal candidate will have proven experience navigating Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, understanding how brands succeed on Amazon, and driving measurable growth for brands in the Amazon space.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Growth Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth marketing strategy tailored for brands selling on Amazon, leveraging Seller Central and Vendor Central best practices.
- Identify growth opportunities, set sales targets, and measure performance for Amazon brands using data-driven insights and market trends.
- Conduct ongoing audits of product listings, ads, reviews, and conversion metrics to uncover optimization opportunities.
- Recommend and execute improvements for under-optimized SKUs, including SEO (keywords, titles), content (images, bullet points, A+), and pricing/review management.
- Optimize Amazon ad budgets and deliver actionable insights to maximize ROI, including regular reporting on organic vs. paid sales, ACoS, TACoS, and keyword rankings.
Content & Messaging Leadership
- Lead the creation of compelling, segment-specific content with a strong emphasis on video (at least 35% of time), eBooks, and educational materials to support brand growth on Amazon.
- Regularly update and optimize messaging across all digital touchpoints, ensuring alignment with Amazon brand positioning and customer insights.
Digital Advertising & PPC Oversight
- Ensure the PPC Specialist is effectively utilizing Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to drive brand awareness and lead generation, with a focus on reaching brands and decision-makers in the Amazon ecosystem.
- Oversee campaign strategy, creative, targeting, and reporting across platforms, with advanced segmentation for maximum impact.
Customer Segmentation & Brand Reach
- Analyze and segment Eva’s customer base and Amazon audiences using demographic, behavioral, and industry data.
- Develop detailed buyer personas and segment-specific outreach strategies for both Amazon and non-Amazon channels.
Alliances & Partnerships
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with agencies, service providers, and other Amazon-focused organizations to unlock new revenue streams and expand Eva’s reach.
- Develop structured partner programs and collaborate on co-marketing, co-selling, and referral initiatives.
Lead Generation & Brand Advocacy
- Drive innovative lead generation strategies across digital, content, and event channels, always maintaining a lead generation and meeting-focused mindset.
- Serve as the face of Eva, representing the company at industry events, in media, and across digital platforms to build brand credibility and excitement.
Customer Insights & Upsell Initiatives
- Analyze existing customer data to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, with a focus on increasing monthly recurring revenue from Amazon brands.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success to personalize offers and improve customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, hands-on culture.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience working with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, with a deep understanding of how brands navigate and grow on Amazon.
- Proven track record in growth marketing, digital advertising, and content strategy for brands in the Amazon space.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
- Hands-on expertise in PPC management, Amazon SEO, and digital campaign execution.
- Experience building and managing partnerships with agencies and service providers.
