Job Description:

Responsible for research, design, and development of computer software. Under general direction, performs high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of the application software that requires a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills. Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the task order. Responsible for ensuring the quality of services delivered for particular DATAAPS task(s).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience in software development, including experience with various programming languages and frameworks
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies

Experience:

Proficiency in JAVA development

Java / Java Scripting

HTML/XHTML/XML Capability

Maturity Module (CMM)

Oracle Database

Oracle PL/SQL

AGILE Methodology

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Certification: Any certification in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and programming languages

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
