Marketing Director - Ophthalmology
Est Search are excited to be partnered with a growing, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company focused on advancing ophthalmic therapies is seeking a Marketing Director to lead strategic and tactical initiatives across the U.S. market. This individual will be responsible for shaping brand strategy, driving commercial success, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize impact in the ophthalmology space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute U.S. marketing strategy for ophthalmic products, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning across multiple channels (HCP, patient, digital, and trade).
- Partner with sales, medical affairs, market access, and global marketing to ensure coordinated execution.
- Oversee market research and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage marketing budget, vendors, and agencies to deliver measurable ROI.
- Drive launch excellence for pipeline products and lifecycle management for in-line brands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, life sciences, or related) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech, with at least 3 years in ophthalmology, specialty pharma, or related therapeutic areas.
- Proven leadership in developing brand strategy and executing multichannel campaigns.
- Strong understanding of U.S. pharma regulations, compliance, and payer dynamics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with cross-functional collaboration.
Location: Remote, USA – Travel required as needed for business and team meetings.
