About The Role

The Senior Marketing Manager is a strategic and hands-on marketing leader who develops and runs integrated B2B and B2C marketing that grows brand awareness, customer engagement, e-commerce and revenue. This is not a manage-from-a-distance role. You will set the strategy, personally build much of the creative in Photoshop and Canva, run and measure A/B tests, and use the results to keep improving performance.

What You Must Bring

These three requirements are essential. Applications that don't meet all three will not move forward.

• California residency. This is a remote role, and you must live in California.
• Hands-on design skills. You personally create and edit marketing assets in Adobe Photoshop and Canva on a regular basis, and you're comfortable with AI creative tools (for example, Higgsfield). A portfolio of work you made yourself is required.
• A/B testing and marketing analytics. You have designed and run A/B tests, measured results, and used the data to change campaigns, creative or budgets. Be ready to walk us through specific examples.

What You'll Do

Strategy and Planning

• Build annual and quarterly marketing plans tied to company revenue, brand, product and growth goals.
• Turn business goals into audience strategies, positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans and measurable targets for B2B and B2C audiences.
• Partner with Product Development and leadership on product positioning, naming, launches and go-to-market plans.

Campaigns, Testing and Analytics

• Plan and run multi-channel campaigns across paid social, search, display, email, e-commerce, retail, partnerships and events, with clear audiences, budgets, timelines and goals.
• Design and run A/B tests on creative, messaging, ads, email, landing pages and other customer touchpoints.
• Track KPIs and use analytics, customer insights and market research to find what's working and adjust campaigns, audiences, budgets and channel mix.

Creative and Content

• Personally create and edit graphics in Photoshop, Canva and AI creative tools for ads, social, email, e-commerce, presentations and educational materials.
• Develop or coordinate short-form video and multimedia content.
• Write and edit marketing copy, and keep all creative on brand and right for each channel.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Social Media Lead, E-Commerce Manager, Product Development and leadership.
• Manage freelance designers, photographers, copywriters, video professionals and agencies, while owning timelines, budgets, deliverables and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Lives in California.
• Hands-on, current experience creating and editing assets in Adobe Photoshop and Canva, shown in a portfolio of your own work.
• Proven experience designing A/B tests and using marketing analytics to improve results.
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including both strategy and hands-on execution.
• Experience running paid advertising across multiple digital channels.
• Strong writing, communication, organization and project management skills, and the ability to work independently across several priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both B2B and B2C marketing.
• Experience with AI creative tools such as Higgsfield.
• Experience producing, directing or managing video and photography.
• Experience with consumer products, wellness, beauty, lifestyle or health brands.
• Experience with direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels such as Shopify, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace or retail media.
• Experience with GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, CRM or marketing automation platforms.
• Experience building a brand style guide or brand system from the ground up.
• Experience at a purpose-driven, mission-oriented or B Corp company, or at a small, growing company.

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel required for team events (4–6 times per year)
• Must be able to travel domestically as needed for trade shows, partner meetings, or marketing events
