User Interface Designer

Product Designer (UI/UX)

EQL Global builds AI-powered tools that automate equity research for analysts and investment teams. We’re looking for a Product Designer who turns complex workflows into elegant, usable experiences across web and desktop.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end design solutions across platforms (web app, desktop, add-ins).
• Build sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Create and maintain consistent brand visuals, design systems, and UI libraries.
• Communicate concepts clearly to PMs and engineers with mockups and design specs/style guides.
• Collect feedback from stakeholders, run quick iterations, and refine toward high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare developer-ready assets and document interaction patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience shipping real products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating mockups, prototypes, and thoughtful problem-solving.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma/Sketch) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong communication, visual design, and creative thinking skills.
• Familiarity with front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for design handoff/prototyping.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for fintech/analytics/AI products.
• Comfort running lightweight user tests and synthesizing insights.
• Experience contributing to or owning a design system.
