Position Summary
This senior-level role within the Quantitative Sciences (QS) team focuses on leading the design and analysis of innovative oncology clinical trials, particularly those integrating real-world data (RWD) through external control arms (ECAs) and hybrid controls. The position emphasizes statistical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and methodological innovation to support product claims and regulatory strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and application of statistical methods for ECAs and hybrid controls.
- Collaborate with clinical, data, and commercial teams to design and analyze oncology trials.
- Guide study design, bias mitigation, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans.
- Mentor teams on advanced statistical practices and novel methodologies.
- Contribute to publications, regulatory submissions, and internal strategy discussions.
- Champion scalable tools and pipelines for data analysis and study delivery.
Qualifications
- PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with 6+ years in oncology clinical trials.
- Data Science Lead 2+ years experience within a cross functional environment
- Expertise in causal inference, survival analysis, and high-dimensional data.
- Experience with externally controlled studies and Bayesian/frequentist methods.
- Expertise in design and analysis of externally controlled studies and hybrid controls including propensity score methods, endpoint measurement bias correction methods
- Proficiency in R, SAS, and/or Python.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and humble approach.
