We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance software solutions using Java/JEE, Spring, and REST APIs.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze requirements, resolve issues, and implement CI/CD pipelines while focusing on system reliability and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CloudBees) are essential.

Responsibilities

Design software solutions following Agile/Waterfall methodologies
Investigate issues and resolve them using scripts and SQL queries
Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA Engineers to address requirements, user stories, test automation, and bug fixes
Provide accurate estimates for user stories and development tasks
Work with teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and manage releases
Create functional specifications and system design documentation
Develop unit tests based on acceptance criteria and maintain test artifacts
Support production issues and Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities
Manage application setup for on-premises and cloud-based environments
Deploy applications across multiple environments

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience
Expertise in Java/JEE Framework, JavaScript, and UNIX
Proficiency in Java, Spring, REST APIs, UNIX scripting, IBM WAS, JBoss, and DevOps CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CloudBees
Relevant certifications in Java SE or Spring Professional (or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases
Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Competency in diagnosing complex issues, ranging from system resource concerns to application stack trace errors
