Primary Skills:

Expert-level proficiency in KDB+
Proven experience building resilient, low-latency, high-throughput data systems.
Deep understanding of electronic trading workflows and market data (FIX).

Responsibilities

Lead core development and delivery on the strategic KDB+ platform for electronic trading
Design, build, and maintain high-frequency, low-latency systems that process market and order data
Architect platforms for robust data management, analytics generation, and trading enablement
Partner with business and technology teams to integrate new products and drive process improvements
Provide technical leadership, mentorship to mid-level developers, and ensure best practices in coding and system design

Requirements

5+ years of professional KDB+ development experience
Strong knowledge of the FIX protocol and handling order/market data
Hands-on experience scaling, load-balancing, and optimizing KDB+ applications for performance
Background in Markets Electronic Trading, Market Making, or a similar domain
6-10 years of overall relevant experience in application development
Consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication

Nice to have

Experience with real-time market data capture and event processing
Knowledge of equities, FX, futures, or fixed income products
Experience in low-latency, high-throughput environments
