Senior Software Engineer (C#)

We're looking for a Senior C# Engineer to build and maintain high-quality web applications.

You'll design robust RESTful APIs, collaborate on integrations, and ensure code quality through testing and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality web applications using C# and the .NET framework
• Design and implement robust, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs and web services to support application functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with front-end and back-end systems.
• Write comprehensive and reliable unit tests using frameworks like NUnit to ensure code quality and minimize defects
• Use version control systems, such as GitHub, to manage code changes effectively in a collaborative environment
• Work on CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes, ensuring faster delivery and continuous integration
• Show eagerness to learn and apply knowledge of front office systems for equities, fixed income, or private markets

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET development
• Strong knowledge of the C# programming language and the .NET framework
• Ability to develop and maintain web applications
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficiency in writing unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit
• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology
• Analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems like GitHub
• Motivated and self-driven, with the ability to learn new concepts and tools in a short period of time
• Team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team

• Experience or knowledge in front office systems for equities / fixed income or private market
