Senior Python AI Developer

We're looking for a Python AI Developer to join our team in Lyon, France in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design and implement robust AI-driven solutions that drive innovation and enhance technical capabilities. This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects involving generative AI, large language models (LLMs), multi-agent systems and advanced automation, helping our clients transform their businesses and stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production-ready AI agents and generative AI features using Python
• Develop and validate scalable LLM frameworks, including RAG implementations, embeddings, vector stores, tool integration and orchestration
• Build and deploy multi-agent systems in production, leveraging common agent frameworks such as CrewAI, LangGraph, LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Implement agent tracing and observability practices for monitoring and debugging
• Prototype and test new AI use cases, transitioning them into stable production features for enterprise environments
• Integrate LLMs, retrieval systems, vector databases and external APIs into end-to-end workflows
• Ensure robust deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI components across environments
• Apply engineering best practices such as testing, CI/CD for AI pipelines, performance optimization and version control

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer or ML Engineer, with hands-on Generative AI work in the last 1–2 years
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, AI workflows and API integrations, along with solid SQL skills
• Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs, including prompt engineering, orchestration and LLM application development
• Proven expertise in RAG architecture, embeddings and vector database integration
• Demonstrated multi-agent experience in production environments
• Familiarity with common agent frameworks: CrewAI, LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex
• Ability to implement agent tracing techniques for workflow observability
• Proficiency with Azure GenAI stack (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Cognitive Services)
• Proven experience in building enterprise-grade, production AI systems focused on scalability, maintainability and reliability
• Strong foundational engineering skills: testing, monitoring, CI/CD, performance tuning and code quality

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial or trading environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization for AI deployments
• Ability to create technical documentation, solution diagrams and architecture blueprints
