We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our team.
In this role, you will drive key design conversations, utilize Figma for fast prototyping, support user testing efforts, and establish a foundation for long-term implementation phases. You will play a pivotal role in creating user-centric designs that align with business objectives and elevate customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage design efforts for projects aimed at enhancing customer service through Playbook initiatives
- Organize and lead design workshops while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Perform design reviews and update the design system to ensure consistency and quality
- Take charge of design responsibilities and guide the discovery process for new projects
- Develop innovative and tailored designs for applications in the public transportation domain
- Handle minor design modifications and focus on stabilizing and maintaining ongoing projects
- Lead the initial commitment phase of design projects, making necessary refinements as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design with a demonstrated ability to lead design initiatives
- At least one year of experience in managing and leading design or development teams
- Expertise in using Figma for creating prototypes and handling design tasks
- Familiarity with ReactJS to understand how design integrates with development workflows
- Experience in developing UX strategies and managing comprehensive design roadmaps
- Ability to work independently and effectively lead design workshops
- Proficiency in establishing design operations and conducting detailed design reviews
- A strong self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion
- Understanding of the public transportation sector and the ability to create a new app for this domain
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a C1 level or higher
