We are seeking a seasoned Lead UX Designer to drive the design of user-centric interfaces for cutting-edge eye surgery solutions, ensuring these interfaces meet the highest standards of usability and safety in the medical field.

Responsibilities

Create and adapt comprehensive design systems featuring consistent, reusable components
Develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma for testing and collaboration with development teams
Design user flows and wireframes tailored for medical device interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers and medical technology experts
Ensure compliance with stringent usability and safety standards for medical interfaces
Transform complex medical workflows into intuitive, user-friendly designs
Advocate for user-centered design principles within the product development lifecycle
Review and provide constructive feedback on UX work from team members to maintain quality

Requirements

Proven experience designing interfaces for medical devices or medical technology, with a strong portfolio to showcase relevant work
Deep understanding of medical interface design principles and regulatory requirements
Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping capabilities with interactive and clickable mockups
Strong foundation in UX design principles prioritizing precision and user safety
Excellent communication skills to convey complex medical workflows and interface details effectively
Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
