We are seeking a seasoned Lead UX Designer to drive the design of user-centric interfaces for cutting-edge eye surgery solutions, ensuring these interfaces meet the highest standards of usability and safety in the medical field.
Responsibilities
- Create and adapt comprehensive design systems featuring consistent, reusable components
- Develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma for testing and collaboration with development teams
- Design user flows and wireframes tailored for medical device interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers and medical technology experts
- Ensure compliance with stringent usability and safety standards for medical interfaces
- Transform complex medical workflows into intuitive, user-friendly designs
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the product development lifecycle
- Review and provide constructive feedback on UX work from team members to maintain quality
Requirements
- Proven experience designing interfaces for medical devices or medical technology, with a strong portfolio to showcase relevant work
- Deep understanding of medical interface design principles and regulatory requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping capabilities with interactive and clickable mockups
- Strong foundation in UX design principles prioritizing precision and user safety
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex medical workflows and interface details effectively
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
