We are seeking a Lead UX Designer to spearhead the design and user experience strategy for our SaaS platform, focusing on innovative developer tools and workflows.
This role combines strategic thinking, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and hands-on execution to create compelling, user-friendly designs for complex technical products.
Responsibilities
- Define and document a clear scope of requirements to support the development and implementation of core SaaS features
- Partner with product management and UX research teams to review and synthesize internal research and technical assessments
- Address gaps by contributing to gap analysis and identifying areas needing further research or stakeholder input
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and user insights through interviews and workshops
- Develop detailed specifications for V1 product features, including Revision Control, DevPortal administration, and analytics
- Design UI/UX solutions for core platform features such as billing, scalable compute APIs, authentication systems, and publishing workflows
- Deliver discovery and analysis documentation, incorporating consolidated findings and actionable recommendations
- Contribute to defining an implementation roadmap for all planned features, ensuring alignment with development milestones
- Manage the creation of product design artifacts, ensuring consistency across tools like Figma, Miro, and JIRA
- Align with developer tools and workflows, collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams in North America and Europe
- Support user research processes to validate designs, especially with technical or developer audiences
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, including work on SaaS products and cloud solutions
- Expertise in UI/UX design for complex technical products, including experience with tools like Figma and JIRA
- Strong background in product specification development and technical documentation
- Knowledge of collaborative tools like Google Drive and Miro for cross-team coordination
- Familiarity with developer tools, software workflows, and user research methodologies
- Proven capability to design for diverse feature sets such as revision control, scalable APIs, billing systems, and team administration
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with game development tools, including Unreal Engine and 3D software pipelines
- Understanding of revision control workflows in gaming or media contexts
- Background in industries like gaming, media & entertainment, simulation, or architecture
- Proficiency in using Miro for advanced design collaboration
