We are seeking a Lead UI Designer to join our EPAM Design Studio in Poland and bridge UI and Brand Design, enhancing our brand experiences and digital assets through visual storytelling.

In this role, you'll contribute to cross-media projects, collaborating with creatives, strategists, and developers to transform strategic insights into compelling visuals. Your strong aesthetic eye, knowledge of global design standards, and commitment to user-centered design will shape the brands we work with.

Responsibilities

Work from concept development through delivery and production across various project stages
Translate complex ideas into visually engaging narratives and original creative concepts
Establish high-quality UI design standards for web, mobile apps, and immersive experiences
Implement and maintain robust design systems for consistency across components and deliverables
Create cohesive brand identities that connect with target audiences on an emotional level
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, strategists, 3D artists, sound engineers, motion designers, copywriters, and developers
Present design concepts effectively, gather feedback, and refine designs based on input
Champion creative excellence, inspiring teams to push boundaries and produce award-winning work
Monitor design trends, cultural shifts, and emerging technologies to ensure relevance
Provide guidance to junior designers, fostering skill development and collaboration

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Arts, Visual Design, or a related field, or equivalent training
Background in design with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a top-tier creative agency, showcasing UI, product design, and brand design in your portfolio
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, and the latest tools and techniques in generative AI
Familiarity with UI/UX principles, user-centered design, accessibility, design systems, and design for intelligent experiences
Competency to manage your own projects, meet deadlines, and work methodically in fast-paced environments
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and openness to diverse approaches
Understanding of current industry developments, particularly in AI, and its applications for design professionals
Expertise in typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy

Nice to have

Understanding of motion design, illustration, or frontend development
Proficiency in generative AI tools and techniques
Strong background across disciplines, adding value to a T-shaped skillset
