Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
- Make architectural decisions to ensure scalability and achieve industry-class performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve collective project objectives
- Identify performance bottlenecks in code and optimize implementations for multi-core and distributed environments
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive input to support junior developers
- Tackle complex technical problems and design effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience in software development with a concentration on distributed storage systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages along with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Background in developing and leading entire subsystems within sophisticated storage solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with competency in resolution of technical issues
- Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
- Effective communication skills suited for collaborative, team-based work environments
- Enthusiasm for engaging with complex technical topics through self-motivation
- Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
