We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Chief UX Designer to join our team.
In this role, you will lead critical design discussions, leverage Figma for rapid prototyping, support user testing processes, and lay the groundwork for extended implementation phases. You will play a key role in delivering user-focused designs that align with strategic business goals and enhance customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design initiatives for projects focused on improving customer service through Playbook enhancements
- Facilitate design workshops while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Conduct design evaluations and refine the design system to ensure consistency and quality
- Lead design efforts and drive the discovery phase for new projects
- Create unique and tailored designs for applications within the public transportation sector
- Manage smaller design updates and prioritize project stabilization and maintenance activities
- Guide the initial commitment phase of design projects, implementing necessary adjustments
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in UX design with a proven track record of leading design initiatives
- Minimum of 2 years in managing and leading design or development teams
- Participation in at least 2 full-cycle projects or involvement in multiple projects across various development lifecycle stages
- Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design-related tasks
- Familiarity with ReactJS to understand and facilitate design integration with development processes
- Expertise in developing UX strategies and overseeing comprehensive design roadmaps
- Ability to work independently and lead design workshops with confidence
- Skilled in setting up design operations and conducting thorough design assessments
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward
- Knowledge of the public transportation domain with the capability to design innovative applications for this sector
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a C1 level or higher
