At ePackageSupply.com, we’re building a high-velocity, vertically-targeted sales engine—and outbound is the next growth lever. We’re hiring an Outbound Marketing Manager to build, run, and scale a predictable outbound pipeline of qualified B2B leads through cold email, LinkedIn, direct mail, and account-based plays.
This is a builder role. You’ll architect the strategy, create playbooks, write copy, and partner with sales to make sure the right prospects hear the right message at the right time. You’ll be measured on pipeline creation, outreach performance, and your ability to unlock new verticals we can scale.
What You’ll Own
- Cold Email & LinkedIn Outreach: Build segmented outbound sequences in Apollo. Target by vertical (honey, produce, meal kits), job title, and account tier. Test subject lines, CTAs, and send times.
- Sales Enablement: Write outbound playbooks, build collateral (1-pagers, decks, sample kits), and sync weekly with sales for alignment on copy, leads, and follow-up.
- Lead Magnet & Funnel Strategy: Create whitepapers, guides, and email capture tools that align with high-LTV verticals. Own strategy from concept through launch and distribution.
- Event-Based Campaigns: Support physical mailers, trade shows, and post-event follow-up plays. Build campaigns that connect offline touchpoints with digital nurture flows.
- Account Targeting & List Building: Own vertical research and account list development. Work with AI tools or scraping workflows to find companies using packaging we sell.
- Campaign Ops & Analytics: Track open/click/reply rates, lead quality, and pipeline by campaign. Optimize based on attribution, not vanity metrics.
What Success Looks Like
- 200+ net-new qualified leads added/month
- Cold email open rates ≥ 45%, reply rates ≥ 8%
- LinkedIn message acceptance rates ≥ 30%
- $500K in pipeline generated from outbound in first 6 months
- At least 2 new verticals sourced and activated via outbound in first year
Tech Stack
- Apollo (or comparable cold outreach platform)
- HubSpot
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Google Sheets, Notion
- Canva or Figma (for basic design/1-pagers)
- Klaviyo (for email nurture sync)
- Shopify Plus (for landing page integration)
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have 3–5+ years experience in outbound or demand gen, preferably B2B or eCom
- Can write high-performing cold copy and structure segmented sequences from scratch
- Are confident researching and targeting specific verticals with custom messaging
- Understand the difference between activity and pipeline—and measure accordingly
- Move fast, experiment constantly, and don’t need a huge team to make progress
Bonus Points
- You’ve launched vertical campaigns for CPG, wholesale, food, or packaging brands
- You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Browse AI, Clay, etc.) to speed up research and outbound personalization
- You’ve owned outbound across both cold and warm (retargeting or reactivation) audiences
- You’ve worked closely with sales or run outbound in a startup/growth environment
- You’ve managed direct mail, trade show, or hybrid ABM campaigns
