About our group | Mō te roopu
The Corporate Services Group works in close partnership with the wider business to lead, support, and enable the EPA to achieve its strategic intentions and effectively and efficiently deliver its core functions.
There are four teams within the Corporate Services Group. These are:
This role sits within Communications and Customer, in the Customer Experience team.
Our work aims to build trust and confidence in the EPA. One way we do this is by making it easy for people to connect with the EPA to access the right information in way that suits them.
About the role | Mō te tūnga
As our Senior Advisor – Digital Communications and Design, you’ll play a key role in how the EPA presents itself to the public. This is a hands-on position that blends design, digital content creation, and brand guidance.
You’ll be responsible for the layout and production of our core corporate publications, ensuring they are visually engaging, accessible, and professionally presented.
You’ll also create a wide range of supporting materials, from infographics and flowcharts to factsheets, templates, and social media graphics.
In addition to design work, you’ll contribute to the quality and consistency of our website content. This includes reviewing and approving content for accessibility, style, and brand alignment, and occasionally supporting with light copy-editing or video editing.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, offering advice on visual communication and helping others apply our brand and style guidelines. You’ll also liaise with external providers such as creative agencies and printers to manage production and ensure our high standards are met.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values good design, and is comfortable balancing creative work with practical delivery.

Experience with CMS platforms (like Silverstripe or Squiz), video editing, or UX design is a plus.

Salary range |
$83,724 to $125,586 per annum (midpoint $104,655).
This is the full salary range. Appointments will likely be made at or below the midpoint of this range, depending on skills and experience. An appointment at the midpoint assumes 100% competency in the role, with the full band covering a range of 80% to 120%.
