Rate: CAD 42/hr incorporated

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support enterprise-level networking deployment projects. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in project coordination/management and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure or networking. You'll work closely with technical teams to help plan, track, and execute infrastructure initiatives across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, execution, and closure of network infrastructure projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineers, system admins, and security staff
• Support development of project documentation: schedules, task lists, resource tracking, and risk logs
• Track project milestones and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
• Participate in vendor coordination and procurement tracking
• Identify project risks and escalate issues to senior PMs as needed
• Help ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and operational standards
• Facilitate implementation of networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Organize team meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience in IT or infrastructure domains
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
• Exposure to networking concepts (IP, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls)
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello)
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, team-first attitude
• Familiarity with IT governance and change management practices

Preferred Certifications:

• Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM)
• ITIL Foundation
• Networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
