Lead Java Developer (Angular | Powerbuilder Apps)

100% REMOTE Technical Lead Java Software Engineer (Angular || PowerBuilder Apps) in the greater DMV, area

Must be local and able to work on site in Suitland, MD if required by the client

MUST have either a U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card)

1. At least 10 years of experience in a related field which includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation or comparison of various technologies (e.g., client/server, software development methodologies, multi-tiered architectures, database architectures and structures, etc.) and their appropriateness for a wide variety of business requirements. Leading technical strategies across modern (Java/Angular) and legacy (PowerBuilder) environments.
2. Maintaining legacy PowerBuilder applications, troubleshoots and fixes any identified bugs or defects, adds new functionality as necessary.
3. Ensuring the stability of PowerBuilder applications throughout the migration lifecycle.
4. Translating legacy source code into functional specifications for new system development.
5. Defining and enforcing unified architectures, processes, and standards across the organization.
