Marketing Manager – Growth & Customer Lifecycle

The Role
This is the first dedicated marketing leadership role at our company. You’ll be responsible for building and executing a marketing strategy that drives measurable growth, revenue, and customer lifetime value. You’ll operate across the full stack — from strategy and campaign development to hands-on channel testing and working with the team to optimize execution.
You’ll be the owner of:
- Marketing performance: growth, CAC, retention, and LTV
- Brand visibility: telling our story in a way that aligns our vision with customers
- Customer experience: guiding people from first impression to loyal customer
You won’t be alone — you’ll collaborate with the founders, creative team, and channel acquisition specialists — but you will be the marketing lead. If you like combining big-picture vision, tactical experimentation and fashion, this role was built for you.
You won’t just be “running campaigns” — you’ll be building the growth engine and shaping the customer experience. This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing at the inflection point: where product-market fit is real, brand clarity is emerging, and your strategy will define how we scale.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Ownership
- Develop and maintain a clear, actionable marketing strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Execute the strategy
- Build campaign calendars across awareness, acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Lead cross-functional efforts with product, creative, and operations to ensure messaging and experience are aligned.
Paid Media & Growth Channels
- Define growth goals across paid channels (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
- Collaborate with user acquisition specialists to launch and scale campaigns — you’ll own the brief, targeting strategy, creative direction, and performance review.
- Monitor CAC, ROAS, CPM, and CPA; translate findings into continuous optimization.
Lifecycle & Retention Marketing
- Design and run email/SMS flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.) and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior and create segmentation strategies to increase LTV and repeat purchases.
- Define the customer journey and suggest lifecycle touchpoints that add value and feel brand-appropriate.
Content & Social Strategy
- Partner with creative and freelance content talent to build an organic presence across social media channels.
- Establish a social media calendar and define pillars of visual and editorial storytelling.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to extend reach and build credibility.
Who You Are
You’ve done this before — or close to it:
- 4–7+ years experience in full-stack marketing roles, ideally at DTC or e-commerce companies.
- Experience owning campaign strategy across paid, lifecycle, social, and brand marketing.
- Comfort working with and guiding teams or agencies for paid ads or creative execution.
- You’ve worked in or around fashion, luxury, or design-forward brands (ideal but not required).
You are:
- A strategic thinker who can also execute and experiment hands-on.
- Fluent in performance marketing metrics — CAC, ROAS, LTV — and how to move them.
- Curious about the customer journey, from discovery to loyalty.
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where things aren’t fully built yet.
- Collaborative and proactive — you work across departments and own your outcomes.
- Creative + analytical — you know how to marry storytelling and performance.
