About This Role
We are looking for an innovative and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data and AI team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming the talent acquisition process through advanced machine learning, generative AI, and traditional statistical methods. You will build and deploy cutting-edge data-driven solutions to streamline recruitment, improve candidate experience, and provide deep insights into hiring strategies. This role is perfect for someone passionate about leveraging AI and data science to revolutionize how companies attract, assess, and hire top talent.
What You’ll Do
AI-Driven Recruitment Solutions:
- Design, develop, and deploy reusable machine learning models and generative AI services to enhance the talent acquisition process, including but not limited to candidate matching, candidate engagement, and interview automation.
- Use Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI techniques to improve job content, such as job descriptions, skills, interview content, and candidate communications.
- Implement AI-driven assistants to help recruiters engage candidates and automate communication throughout the hiring process.
Predictive Analytics For Hiring Success
- Develop predictive models to assess the likelihood of candidate success and cultural fit, using historical hiring data, behavioral patterns, and performance metrics.
- Build models that forecast hiring trends, time-to-hire, and attrition risks based on various data points, such as job history, assessments, and interview feedback.
- Conduct data analysis to identify key predictors of successful hires and help optimize recruitment strategies.
Talent Sourcing Optimization
- Leverage machine learning and AI algorithms to enhance talent sourcing by identifying high-potential candidates from large and diverse datasets.
- Build algorithms and generative models that continuously learn and evolve based on the success of past hires.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights on hiring patterns, diversity metrics, and recruitment funnel performance.
Experimentation And Model Evaluation
- Design and run A/B tests and experiments to validate the effectiveness of new strategies, models, and tools.
- Evaluate the performance of machine learning models in production and work to continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and fairness.
- Ensure that AI systems are unbiased and compliant with legal and ethical standards, particularly in recruitment.
Collaboration And Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of junior data scientists and software engineers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into existing talent acquisition tools and platforms.
- Stay informed on the latest AI, machine learning, and recruitment technology trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Communication And Reporting
- Present complex analytical results to senior leaders and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Translate data findings into strategic recommendations to improve recruitment processes, reduce bias, and enhance candidate experience.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on HR, recruitment technology, or similar fields.
- Expertise in applying machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI methods to solve people-oriented challenges.
- Strong background in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and performance evaluation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and experience with generative AI models (e.g., GPT, BERT, GANs).
- Knowledge of AI-powered recruitment platforms, resume parsing technologies, and candidate matching algorithms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML governance platforms, such as watsonx.governance, Holistic AI, Fairly AI, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply data science techniques to real-world business problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, providing guidance and mentoring to junior data scientists.
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is a nice to have.
