About The Role
Employ is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to take our content strategy and development efforts to new heights for multiple channels. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who is both a skilled content strategist and an exceptional writer that performs across various formats, creative types, and tones. You will be responsible for building engaging, impactful, and high-performing content that drives brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can adapt to any writing style or format, and is passionate about producing content that resonates with target audiences and fuels the buyer’s journey.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with business goals and demand generation.
- Own the content calendar across launches, campaigns, reports, webinars, and events.
- Identify opportunities through content gap analysis, audience research, and SME collaboration.
- Create messaging frameworks, positioning, and narratives to ensure brand consistency.
- Produce high-quality content across formats: blogs, reports, ebooks, case studies, emails, social, web copy, webinars, and video scripts.
- Support Employ’s social media strategy through copywriting, calendar management, and performance tracking.
- Partner cross-functionally (comms, brand, demand gen, product, customer marketing, design) to align content with campaign and sales goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize for engagement, SEO, and conversion.
- Stay current on trends and provide feedback to maintain quality standards.
- Write and produce high-quality content across a variety of formats including:
- Ebooks, guides, industry reports, and white papers
- Webinar content and speaking abstracts
- Website and SEO-first landing page copy
- Social media posts and ad campaigns
- Email marketing copy (nurture sequences, announcements, and promotional campaigns)
- SEO-first Blog posts
- Case studies
- Video storyboarding and copy development (includes partnering with designers and video production team)
- Support efforts in development and execution of Employ's social media strategy, including partnering with designers on graphics, writing copy, maintaining the editorial calendar, and measuring/reporting performance.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience in content marketing, content strategy, or related roles.
- Proven track record of creating engaging, results-driven content across multiple formats and channels.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adjust tone and style for different audiences and mediums.
- Understanding of SEO principles, content analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience managing content calendars, developing outlines, and executing content from concept to publication.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Creative thinker with a passion for producing content that drives engagement and measurable business outcomes.
