Web Designer

Senior Web Designer - HTML5- Drupal theming - 12 Month Contract (with extensions)

This is a contract role for an experienced web designer to support marketing and digital web initiatives within a fast paced environment. You will work across design and front end delivery, contributing to Drupal based web properties and broader digital marketing output. The role requires someone who can operate independently and produce production ready work from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver responsive, cross browser compatible web pages and digital assets to a high standard.
• Develop and maintain Drupal 9, 10, or 11 themes, working within existing design systems and brand guidelines.
• Build front end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or jQuery, ensuring consistency and performance across devices.
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to translate briefs into functional, visually accurate web experiences.
• Create and iterate on design mockups and prototypes using Figma and Photoshop.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across all digital touchpoints, applying accessibility best practices where required.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript or jQuery.
• Drupal 9, 10, or 11 theming.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
• Proven experience with responsive design and cross browser testing.

Desirable:

• Experience with email automation platforms such as Pardot or Eloqua.
• Working knowledge of WAI ARIA and web accessibility standards.
