We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an innovative team developing next-generation hardware acceleration technology. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing the software layer that enables high-performance accelerator hardware to integrate seamlessly with Linux operating systems. You'll work on everything from low-level driver development to virtualization, ensuring hardware can be deployed securely and efficiently across bare-metal servers, virtual machines, and cloud environmen
ts.

- itiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance Linux kernel drivers for proprietary accelerator hard
- ware.Build robust communication interfaces between hardware and soft
- ware.Develop and optimise low-level interactions with PCIe, DMA, MMIO, interrupt handling, and IOMMU technolo
- gies.Enable accelerator support within virtualized environments using KVM and
- QEMU.Design secure device sharing, passthrough, and isolation mechan
- isms.Implement memory protection and resource isolation to ensure safe opera
- tion.Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, kernel, hypervisor, and guest operating sys
- tems.Support the evolution of the platform from single-device deployments to scalable, multi-device cloud infrastruc
- ture.Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solut
ions.
Skills & Expe
- rienceMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related disci
- pline.Strong understanding of Linux operating system internals, including kernel memory management and I/O subsy
- stems.Commercial experience developing Linux kernel drivers and kernel mo
- dules.Excellent knowledge of memory safety principles within kernel
- space.Experience with virtualization technologies, including KVM and hyperv
- isors.Practical experience working with QEMU, including emulator internals or custom device m
- odels.Good understanding of hardware communication technologies such as PCIe, DMA, MMIO, and
- IOMMU.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware and software environ
- ments.Professional-level English communication s
