Senior React.js Developer

ReactJS Developer (Remote, Hungary Based) - B2B contract 12 months

Location: Remote, must be based in Hungary

Travel Requirement: If located outside Hungary, the consultant must stay onsite in Hungary for 1 week during onboarding / project start.

Contract Type: Freelanc (B2B), 6-12 months and extendable

Language: English required

We are looking for an experienced ReactJS Developer to join an international project delivering modern, scalable web applications. The role is fully remote, however candidates must be able to work from Hungary, and non-Hungary based consultants must be available to stay onsite in Hungary for one week at the start of the assignment.

This role requires strong frontend expertise with React and TypeScript. AI, and modern data / LLM experience is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using ReactJS and TypeScript
• Build responsive, high-quality UI components following modern UX/UI principles
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST / GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with backend, AI, and data engineering teams
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design
• Support development of AI-driven features and integrations
• Work within an agile, international development team

Required Skills – Frontend / React

• Strong experience with ReactJS
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Solid understanding of UI / UX principles
• Experience with responsive design
• Experience integrating REST / GraphQL APIs
• Background as a Software Engineer / Application Developer

AI & Backend Exposure (Required / Nice to have)

• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience with AI integrations
• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts
• Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with Prompt Engineering

Palantir Skillset (Highly desirable)

• Experience with Palantir Foundry
• Trained on Workshop
• Trained on Quiver
• Experience with AIP Agents
• Experience with Retrieval / RAG
