Senior Java Software Engineer

Senior Java Developer - JVM Languages (IE Java) - Clojure - AWS - Git / BitBucket – Hungary

Empiric has received an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer with strong backend development and microservice development skills using JVM with any Object-Oriented Programming or and any object-oriented language (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.).

Plus experience in Clojure OR If any other relevant functional programming languages.

The client is looking for Java Developers with min 2 years experience in working with cloud-based server environments; (AWS ideally) You will also be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software backend (REST API) solutions

Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and source control systems; (Git / BitBucket a plus)

Also you will work as part of a development Scrum team in an Agile environment that is geographically diverse

Skills/experience:

JVM OR any object-oriented language (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.)

Clojure OR If any other relevant functional programming languages

Backend (REST API) solutions

Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and source control systems; (Git / BitBucket a plus)

SAFE Agile.

Cloud-based server environments; (AWS ideally)

• Term: 6 to 12 Months plus extensions
