About Emitrr

Emitrr is a fast-growing SaaS company building AI-powered customer communication and automation solutions for businesses. Our platform helps businesses manage conversations across voice, text, scheduling, and other communication channels, with AI-powered tools that automate everyday customer interactions.

As we continue to grow, our website is an important part of how customers discover, understand, and engage with our product.

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who can take strong ownership of our web platform and help us build, optimize, and scale a high-performing SaaS website.

What you'll do

  • Own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Emitrr's WordPress website.
  • Build and optimize high-quality landing pages, product pages, and website experiences.
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, plugins, and components.
  • Work closely with Design, Content, Marketing, and Engineering teams to turn ideas into scalable web experiences.
  • Optimize websites for performance, SEO, accessibility, security, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party tools, APIs, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems.
  • Improve website architecture and development processes as the website and traffic scale.
  • Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve speed, conversion, SEO, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues independently.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of web projects — from understanding the requirement and choosing the right approach to development, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Contribute to making the website reliable and scalable as traffic and content grow.

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
  • Strong experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-traffic or large-scale websites, preferably for SaaS, technology, or B2B companies.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, custom development, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.
  • Good understanding of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, page speed, caching, CDN, and website security.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, analytics tools, marketing platforms, or automation tools.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects rather than only executing predefined tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical decisions independently.

Good to have

  • Experience working on a SaaS/product website with significant organic or overall traffic.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and other marketing/analytics tools.
  • Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, CDNs, caching, or other web infrastructure.
  • Experience improving website conversion rates and user experience.
  • Experience working closely with SEO, Content, and Growth teams.

What you'll own

This role is not limited to maintaining WordPress pages.

We are looking for someone who can own the website as an engineering product — understand how it works, identify what can be improved, make technical decisions, and continuously improve its performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.

If you've worked on a high-traffic SaaS or technology website and enjoy taking ownership of the entire web experience, we'd love to hear from you.
