We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:

Collaborate with data experts and stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive decision-making and business growth.
Design and implement advanced data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and other data science applications.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning techniques, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to business challenges.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This job might be for you if you have:

5+ years of experience in Data Science
Experience with Databricks, Python, and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
Highly experienced and skilled at collaborating with business clients
An analytical and creative approach to design and problem-solving
Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
Good English skills (verbal and written)

Location requirement:

Although this position offers the possibility to work remotely, you have to be based anywhere in Portugal.
