Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time (Indefinite)

Shift: Day Shift (10 AM - 6 PM MK time)

Responsibilities

Example Tasks / Workflows

• Deliver product roadmap features: Collaborate with product managers to understand the roadmap, align with cross-teams on plans, work with developers and architects on system design, and ensure timely execution and delivery.
• Manage security initiatives: Track the security backlog, lead cross-team discussions, and ensure timely execution and delivery.
• Manage technical initiatives: Track the technical initiatives for the team, set priorities, collaborate with cross-teams on system design, and ensure timely execution and delivery.

How Success Is Measured

• Alignment of the team with company vision and strategy
• Effective collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Implementation of engineering best practices
• Improvement of software architecture

Required Proficiencies

• Technical Vision and Strategy: Implement the company's technical vision and long-term strategy for both off-platform and on-platform technologies and products. Understand the direction, communicate strategies to developers, and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts in Product, Operations, and Design to expand business impact. Partner with engineering leaders across the organization to influence platforms and technical decisions throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Engineering Practices and Culture: Advance modern software development practices, foster a safe and inclusive work environment, and promote collaborative engineering methods.
• Leadership and Team Management: Grow and lead a team of engineers by hiring, coaching, mentoring, and providing career development opportunities to build a skilled, high-performing workforce.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate strong leadership to manage and inspire teams. Share knowledge, provide guidance, and facilitate professional growth with excellent communication skills.
• Strategic Thinking: Translate product and business goals into technical strategies. Apply deep system design expertise, lead staff engineers, and resolve issues affecting both the team and the larger engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level, n-tier software solutions
• Solid understanding of software development principles with proven leadership experience
• Strong grasp of IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, security, and cloud computing
• Knowledge of data management, consumer applications, methodologies, and emerging technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to design effective solutions
• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide teams
