Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain mission-critical systems powering healthcare operations for over 60 clinics and health systems. You will define technical direction, drive scalable integrations, and shape architectural evolution. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll work in a high-growth, cross-functional team, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build world-class AI-driven solutions. Our engineers balance craftsmanship and speed-to-market using unit testing, automation, and high-service telemetry. The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years of experience developing robust and scalable full-stack applications, databases, and developer tools.
• Proven experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining production applications at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript), React, NodeJS (NestJS), and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as HTTP2, WebSockets, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Ability to improve code quality through automated testing (ViTest, Cypress, Playwright), continuous deployment, and CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, CodeFresh).
• Strong background in architecting and developing solutions for complex and high-impact problems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with observability and monitoring systems (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, Cloudwatch).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code in production environments.
• Familiarity with front-end and internal UI technologies (ReTool, Salesforce Communities, Contentful, React, NextJS).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestrators like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in designing, versioning, and scaling APIs.
• Extensive experience with at least one of the following languages: GoLang, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin.
• Background in healthcare technology, clinical workflows, or EHR/EMR integration.
• Strong debugging skills for distributed systems.
• Experience with container runtime environments such as Fargate.

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and high-performance services and applications.
• Improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring, unit testing, system testing, and automated deployments.
• Enhance tooling and systems to support business growth and scalability.
• Mentor and support team members in design techniques, coding standards, and best practices.
• Perform deep architectural work, exploring and integrating new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities and drive innovation.
