Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll drive the technical vision, build mission-critical systems, and lead architectural decisions powering healthcare operations for over 60 clinics. Collaborating with a global, cross-functional team, you'll shape scalable solutions using a modern full-stack TypeScript stack—all within a fast-growing, remote-first health tech startup built for impact.

The Qualifications We Seek
- 5+ years of experience building robust and scalable full-stack applications, databases, and developer tools
- Strong experience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining production applications at scale
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript), React, NodeJS (NestJS), and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with modern web technologies such as HTTP2, WebSockets, gRPC, and GraphQL
- Proficiency in improving codebases through automated testing (ViTest, Cypress, Playwright), continuous integration, and deployment (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, CodeFresh)
- Proven ability to architect and develop solutions for ambiguous problems with significant impact
Nice to Haves
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code in production environments
- Familiarity with front-end and internal UI technologies (ReTool, Salesforce Communities, Contentful, React, NextJS)
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong background in designing, versioning, and scaling APIs
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as GoLang, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Kotlin
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, working with clinical staff, or regulated industries (especially EHR/EMR integration)
- Skilled in debugging distributed systems
- Experience working with container runtime environments like AWS Fargate
Your Daily Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and high-performing services and applications
- Improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring, unit testing, system testing, and deployment automation
- Develop and enhance internal tooling and systems to support ongoing scaling efforts
- Mentor team members on design techniques, establish coding standards, and provide feedback to ensure best practices
- Conduct architectural work, exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product and service capabilities through data-driven insights
