The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in marketing or a related role
- Proven experience in content creation and copywriting
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools)
- Certification in Google Analytics or equivalent digital marketing credentials (preferred)
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CRM tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Your Daily Tasks
Departmental Duties:
- Manage community engagement by reviewing and responding to customer emails, comments, and concerns in a timely, professional manner
- Create or edit a monthly social calendar outlining scheduled content
- Coordinate, schedule, and edit influencer collaborations for marketing campaigns
- Write and edit content for store promotions, website blogs, creative briefs, radio scripts, social media captions, store PA announcements, and receipt messages
- Draft head office memos for store promotions, signage changes, and critical internal communications
- Collect and analyze marketing data related to campaigns, conversions, traffic, followers, and engagement—benchmarking against competitors
- Generate monthly KPI scores for the marketing department
Other Duties:
Campaign Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, and print)
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations
Content Creation:
- Create and curate engaging content for blogs, websites, social media, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and creative teams to produce high-quality content
Market Research:
- Conduct research to identify industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies
- Analyze findings to support data-driven marketing decisions
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms
- Develop, update, and enforce brand guidelines
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute promotional events and activations
- Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination and marketing materials
Digital Marketing:
- Manage social media presence, including scheduling, engagement, and analytics
- Optimize website content for SEO and manage online ads (e.g., Google Ads, social media campaigns)
Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Identify and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders
- Coordinate joint marketing initiatives and sponsorship opportunities
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities
- Use insights from analytics to refine and improve marketing strategies
