Senior Data Engineer

Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a powerhouse team of 500+ specialists delivering category-leading digital products across iGaming, sports wagering, and personal finance.

This is a new project focused on building a central data hub to track player-level activity, revenue, and user journeys across multiple brands. The goal is to empower smarter, faster, and more impactful business decisions while driving product innovation across 18+ countries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Integrate data from external APIs and internal systems into Snowflake and reporting tools.
• Develop and maintain orchestration workflows using Airflow and event streams with Kafka.
• Build frameworks and tools to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across pipelines and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, product managers, and other engineers.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing data solutions.

Requirements

Technical (must have):

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer working on data infrastructure.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow and Kafka.
• Knowledge of data modeling, governance, and performance tuning in warehouse environments.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Terraform, Docker).
• Proven experience pulling and managing data from APIs.

Nice to have:

• Experience with web scraping (Playwright / Selenium / Puppeteer).

Soft skills:

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (min. B2).
• Proactive and independent working style.
