About The Opportunity

As a Group Product Manager at Ellucian, you will lead a high-performing team of product managers, overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of a portfolio of products that are critical to the success of higher education institutions. You will have the opportunity to shape the product vision, drive innovation, and mentor a team of product professionals while working closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. In this leadership role, you will play a key part in the future direction of our product offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and market trends.

Where You Will Make an Impact

Team Leadership: Mentor and manage product managers, fostering growth, accountability, and a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Product Strategy: Define and execute strategies across a portfolio of products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to ensure cohesive product delivery and alignment.
Executive Communication: Act as a key liaison for leadership, clearly communicating product vision, roadmaps, and outcomes.
Customer & Market Insight: Lead discovery efforts, guiding teams to prioritize features based on data, user needs, and market trends.
Innovation & Execution: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, championing innovation and continuous improvement.
Business Acumen: Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and prioritization, ensuring investments align with growth and value.

What You Will Bring

Experience: 5+ years of experience in product and project leadership roles, managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and lifecycle stages.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams with accountability and clarity.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to define long-term vision, build product or program roadmaps, and align execution with business priorities.
Collaboration & Influence: Excellent communicator with a strong track record of working across departments and influencing without authority.
Customer & Market Focus: Strong understanding of stakeholder needs with a desire to translate insights into meaningful solutions.
Agile & Delivery Expertise: Experienced in agile delivery or iterative project management, with a focus on value delivery and adaptability.
