Locally Remote | Part-Time | 3 Month Contract (Renewable) | Reports to: Founder
Pays $25/hour (Contingent on Experience) - 10hrs/week - Billed at the end of month.
We’re looking for an experienced and creative Social Media & Brand Manager to join our marketing agency. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of thoughtful digital strategy and knows how to translate content performance into strong brand authority.
You’ll work closely with the founder to elevate the agency’s online presence, manage content creation across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and establish our reputation as a value-driven and education-first marketing firm. This is a corporate-facing role—you’ll be building our brand presence as an agency, not as a personal brand as it appears now.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create original content that reflects the agency’s voice, customer avatars, and service offerings
- Repurpose existing content (blogs, videos, past campaigns) into short-form content like reels, stories, shorts, and carousels
- Use analytics and performance data to shape future campaigns, trial new content formats, and refresh high-performing assets
- Leverage our existing b-roll and photo library to create timely, relevant video and static content
- Write video scripts and post copy for the founder to film or publish
- Research and pitch content series and campaign ideas aligned with current trends and the agency’s goals
- Collaborate with industry partners or creators to expand reach and build trust
- Write blog posts and promote them strategically across platforms and newsletters
- Weekly google meeting with the founder, project management via asana
- *Occasional (in person) social media content shoots,
- **Participation on our social media profile
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years experience in social media and brand marketing, preferably in an agency or B2B services context
- Proven ability to manage social accounts from a business brand (not personal brand) perspective
- High proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platform features
- Comfortable using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace, Asana, Loom, and Wix Blog
- Working knowledge of Stan Store or other digital product platforms (for launching digital downloads, checklists, and eBooks)
- Confident in reading analytics, identifying patterns, and adjusting content strategy accordingly
- Able to bring original, strategic ideas to the table while optimizing existing content
- Bonus: Experience in scriptwriting, brand storytelling, or managing collaborations
