Role Summary:

As a Product Designer at elGrocer you will be a key contributor to crafting exceptional user experiences through thoughtful and innovative design. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting user research, iterating on existing app designs, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance the overall usability and efficiency of our digital products.

What You'll Be Doing:

User Research:

• Conduct in-depth user research to identify pain points, preferences, and user behaviors.
• Analyze user feedback, usage data, and industry trends to inform design decisions.

Usability and Navigation:

• Iterate on existing app designs to improve usability and enhance overall user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement design improvements.

Order Flow Redesign:

• Redesign the order flow to create a more intuitive and efficient user experience.
• Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and business goals.

Industry Trends and Competitor Analysis:

• Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and competitor products.
• Conduct regular reviews and analysis of competitor products to ensure our designs remain competitive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in design sprints, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.

Design Asset Delivery:

• Deliver high-quality design assets and specifications on time for development sprints.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of design elements.

What You Should Already Have:

• Experience: 3+ of experience in product design or a related field.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, emphasizing problem-solving and user-cantered design.
• Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
