Elfina Health is an early-stage mental health company working to solve the category's biggest problem: helping people find the right therapist. Today, most people navigate directories and reviews, often end up with a poor match, and drop out of therapy — when the real issue was the fit. We match people to therapists based on who they are, not who holds the highest ratings. We believe getting that match right is what makes everything else possible.

We're a tighly knit team of 8 and now looking to expand. We're hiring a full-time Visual Designer to help shape how people first experience our brand.

Why design matters here

In this category, design isn't decoration — it's the first thing that tells someone they're in the right place. Most people meet us at a sensitive moment, sometimes in real distress. The job is to make them feel better while making it unmistakable what we stand for. That's a delicate, high-stakes problem, and it's yours to solve every day.

Since our first website we've believed illustration would carry a big part of that — saying more by saying less. We've been experimenting with an illustration system and haven't cracked it yet. You might be the one who does.

And we do a lot differently as a brand. The design should too. If your instinct for "mental health design" is soft gradients and lone figures on cliffs, we're not for you — the clichés are exactly what we're trying to escape.

What you'll own

• Our website (currently built on Framer)
• All social media design
• Marketing collateral and everything in between

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years working with brands or clients — you think in systems, not one-off screens, and you're comfortable inside a team
• Past experience with website work and/or Framer.
• A point of view that gets past the category clichés
• Comfort working with minimal guidance — we're a team of under 10
• You use AI in your work. We're not looking for anti-AI designers.
• Experience with — or a real interest in developing — an illustration system is a strong plus
