We’re looking for a permanent full-time/contractor Mid-to-Senior Level Product Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and has handson experience in building SaaS products from the ground up.

Important: Only Australian or New Zealand residents will be accepted for this role, and the
successful candidate must undergo a police check before the position will be offered to them.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale a next-gen SaaS platform with a strong focus on backend engineering, and UI integration
• Write high-quality Python code for backend and full-stack development.
• Architect and manage backend infrastructure for security, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize databases using Supabase, Firebase, or other cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate on AI/ML and prompt engineering to enhance platform intelligence.
• Collaborate with founder on core product development in a fast-pace startup setting.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong Python development skills (4-5 years).
• Experience in AI LLM models, prompt engineering and Machine Learning
• Proven track record of building software from scratch or delivering significant projects.
• Passion for solving interesting and complex technical challenges.
• Eager to work in a startup environment and drive innovation.

Ideal Experience

• Experience in cybersecurity-related development.
• Familiarity with Supabase or Firebase for scalable backends.
• Exposure to AI/ML and prompt engineering.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Background in data analytics and insights-driven development.
