Software Engineer-Managed Invoice Review (India)

Elevate is looking for an experienced AI Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions in production environments. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in modern AI architectures (LLMs, RAG, NLP pipelines) and understands how to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise-grade workflow and SaaS platforms.

Specifically, the AI Developer will

• Design and develop AI-powered features using:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• NLP and semantic search systems

• Build end-to-end AI pipelines including:

• Data ingestion

• Vectorization / embeddings

• Indexing and retrieval systems

• Model orchestration

• Integrate AI models into production-grade applications via APIs and microservices.

• Optimize prompt engineering and model responses for enterprise use cases.

• Develop private model hosting strategies (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI).

• Ensure governance, observability, and auditability of AI outputs.

• Implement evaluation frameworks for hallucination reduction and response quality.

• Collaborate with Product, Legal Ops, and Engineering teams to translate business use cases into AI solutions.

• Ensure secure handling of sensitive enterprise data.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for AI deployments.

Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in AI/ML engineering.

• The ability to approach complex problems systematically and come up with effective solutions.
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders and collaborating with global team members.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams comprising machine learning engineers, data scientists, software developers, and possibly domain experts.
• Capacity to critique existing methods and theories and propose improvements or alternatives.
• Given that GPT and similar technologies can have far-reaching societal impacts, an understanding of the ethical implications is important.
• Machine learning and NLP are rapidly evolving fields, so a willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies is crucial.
• With machine learning models, small changes can sometimes have big impacts, so careful attention to detail is critical.

Technical Skills

• Python (must)

• LLM tooling (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, etc.)

• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, OpenSearch)

• RAG architecture implementation

• Embedding models

• Strong understanding of:

• Prompt engineering

• Token optimization

• Model evaluation strategies

• Fine-tuning approaches

• Experience deploying models in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with structured + unstructured document processing (PDF parsing, OCR, clause extraction).

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S degree/Any in Computer Science and Electronics or related field
