Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Project Manager to support execution of high-impact projects across the electric power sector. This role will work closely with senior subject matter experts to lead client meetings, coordinate project activities, develop client-facing deliverables, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
The position offers exposure to a range of technical and strategic topics, including power systems modeling, regulatory compliance, and transmission policy. In addition to core project responsibilities, this role will support business development efforts, prepare client and industry materials, and contribute to internal process improvements that enhance team effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management and Execution
- Manage execution of multiple engineering projects, tracking timelines, deliverables, and key milestones
- Lead cross-functional coordination to gather inputs, identify risks, and drive resolution of project roadblocks
- Prepare client-ready deliverables, including reports, summaries, and presentations, with input from senior subject matter experts
- Review team member’s work for completeness, consistency, and quality prior to delivery
- Quickly ramp on technical topics in the electric power industry (e.g., power systems modeling, regulatory compliance)
- Own discrete project workstreams, including scope, coordination, and delivery
Business Development and Strategic Support
- Support business development efforts by helping identify and track potential opportunities, preparing materials, and coordinating outreach activities
- Support client and industry stakeholder relationships through ongoing communications, meeting coordination, and follow-ups
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, and other materials for new and existing work
- Coordinate internal efforts related to new service offerings and strategic initiatives
- Assist with preparation for industry meetings and conferences (e.g., drafting summaries, slides decks)
- Contribute to internal process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and helping implement better tools and workflows
Qualifications
Candidates should have the following required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a project management role, ideally working with engineers
- Excellent client communication, advising, and relationship-building skills
- Strong project manager with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, proactively resolve roadblocks, not just track status
- Exceptional work management skills, including high ownership, organization, and responsiveness; able to manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel
- Strategic thinker able to synthesize large and complex inputs, conduct data analysis independently, and translate insights into clear, compelling materials (e.g., executive-level slide decks)
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and client-ready deliverables
- Familiarity with the electric power industry and key stakeholders; ability to quickly ramp on technical topics (e.g., develop a working understanding of power systems modeling and regulatory compliance)
- Ability to contribute to business development efforts, including client engagement
