Elevate is recruiting an Associate Director-Marketing to lead Elevate’s editorial, content, and public relations efforts. This role will shape our external voice across thought leadership, media relations, and public-facing content.
Specifically, you will
- Oversee Editorial & Content Strategy
- Lead development of high-impact content: blogs, white papers, press releases, newsletters, and more.
- Manage the editorial calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business priorities.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all content.
- Collaborate with internal experts to craft compelling narratives.
- Oversee newsletter content and campaign messaging.
- Set deadlines and coordinate with design and publishing teams.
- Track content performance and adjust strategy based on insights.
- Support Public Relations & Communications
- Develop and execute PR strategies to elevate Elevate’s brand visibility.
- Write and distribute press releases and media pitches.
- Secure media placements, coordinate interviews, and manage journalist relationships.
- Maintain editorial calendars and monitor media coverage.
- Report on PR performance and engagement metrics.
- Manage Governance & Collaboration
- Ensure adherence to SOPs for content and communications.
- Oversee awards submissions, partnerships, and channel relationships.
- Align messaging with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
- Support internal communications and executive visibility.
- Contribute to strategic planning and visual storytelling initiatives.
Experience
- 7+ years in editorial, content marketing, or PR, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience placing articles and managing media outreach required.
- Legal or professional services experience preferred.

Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with SEO, CMS platforms, and media monitoring tools.
- Writing samples and performance metrics required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience required.
- J.D. from an accredited law school preferred.
Compensation
- US national salary range up to $120,000, based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
