Position Summary
The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of field marketing strategies, focusing on managing Electrolit's Brand Ambassador (EBA) program. This role aims to enhance trial, increase sales, and elevate brand awareness across Canada. Additionally, the Field Marketing Specialist will work closely and support sponsored events and athlete initiatives, ensuring effective communication outputs and fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers. A deep understanding of local market dynamics is essential, along with the capability to design and execute a comprehensive marketing plan.

Principal Duties
- Support the recruitment, training, and leadership of Electrolit Brand Ambassador (EBA) teams across Montreal, Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver
- Provide coaching to EBAs to reinforce best practices and ensure alignment with the defined strategy, focusing on sampling, event support, and sales support, including conducting regular shadow shifts for optimal execution
- Empower each EBA member to contribute actively to the planning process, fostering a continuous flow of innovative ideas to expand the user base
- Oversee the daily operations of the EBAs, ensuring that all key performance indicators, including project/activation targets and EBA sample targets, are met and monitored
- Assist with managing the EBA team schedule, ensuring that hours are accurately tracked and recorded
- Identify and coordinate community-level sponsored events across various Canadian markets, providing support to local EBA teams during their activations as needed
- Aid in the management of event infrastructure and regional storage units, ensuring timely product orders and proper maintenance of infrastructure
- Develop and execute a regional marketing plan that supports the growth targets established by the company
- Leverage all national marketing programs that are relevant in the region to their fullest potential
- Provide support for market blitzes and other sales/trade events within respective region
- Manage travel and event expenses, including routine purchases for items such as ice and parking
- Be the local face to our global brand
- Help support and enhance activation on site with a strong focus on consumer
- Participate in overseeing local sponsorships and agreements, focusing on consumer engagement, under the direction of the Marketing Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication, planning, and project management skills
- Strong understanding and knowledge of local market geography
- Ability to create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Highly collaborative personality, always in search of the best solutions to create win-win situations
- Self-starter but able to take direction, ability to work both independently and as a team player
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field
- At least three (3) years of marketing and sales experience in Beverage CPG industry
- Experience in a supervisor or managerial role
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills; PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficient knowledge of all Social Media platforms

- Travel up to 60%

- Valid driver license and active auto insurance policy
- Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift, and carry objects (up to 40 ponds)
