EPE is looking for a next generation marketing and communications innovator to help lead strategic marketing efforts to support our business goals. This key role is responsible for supporting the promotion and delivery of world-class consultative services and software products in two major market sectors in the energy industry, making a significant impact on the future of energy.
The Director of Marketing and Communications plays a pivotal role in leading EPE’s business unit marketing efforts to achieve direct measurable outcomes. Key performance indicators (KPIs) demonstrating growth in thought leadership, business leads, sales, and business unit branding will guide the Directors success. In close collaboration with the Vice President, the Director will partner with business unit leads to oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the business unit’s growth objectives. In this capacity, you will proactively identify growth and enhancement opportunities for the business unit while developing and deploying marketing initiatives and assets, evolving and maintaining EPE’s website content, optimizing social media presence, lead generation, and email marketing through the Salesforce marketing platform, participating in trade show engagement, and leading market research. Your contributions will directly impact EPE's growth and success.
This role will proactively shape the respective business unit's reputation, raise brand and value proposition awareness, and generating leads that drive revenue growth – all directly contributing to EPE’s growth goals and market leadership.
Responsibilities
How you can make an impact :
Develop, evaluate, and implement an overall marketing strategy for EPE’s business unit.
Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities to scope and execute marketing strategies to reach different customer segments.
Determine and propose innovative ideas as part of EPE’s Business Development Team to help EPE meet growth objectives for customers, sales, and brand awareness.
Advance EPE’s brand and market position. Following company guidelines, develop and drive consistent EPE branding and messaging content adoption and proliferation.
Establish and implement marketing plans to increase EPE’s digital and social media presence on platforms like LinkedIn; proactively craft and deliver social media content to amplify voice and thought leadership of key EPE executives.
Ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts.
Manage and maintain EPE’s brand identity and voice through EPE’s webpage design and content; appropriately use graphics, videos, text, and layout to optimize user experience.
Lead EPE’s business unit market research efforts to assist in developing sales strategies for different markets; develop product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights/trends, competitive activities, and product understanding.
Create and analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics that measure program effectiveness to report to relevant stakeholders. Oversee the business unit aspect of EPE’s Marketing KPI dashboard. Further drive the Marketing Analytics and Insights program, by leading:
CRM integration.
Analyzing marketing data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Generating insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies.
Utilizing analytics tools to track ROI and attribution across marketing channels.
Drive content marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to:
Creating engaging content for various platforms (blogs, videos, infographics, etc.).
Developing content marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Collaborating with other teams for content distribution and promotion
Generate leads through savvy marketing strategies and tactics. Attract prospective clients that lead to company growth through accuracy, clarity, consistency, and relevance.
Manages brand positioning and messaging across all channels, including generating all business unit marketing materials, including emails, handouts for trade shows, brochures, customer communications, presentations, and other materials.
Lead product marketing initiatives by developing product/services positioning and messaging strategies, as well as creating sales enablement materials and product collateral
Manage and engage agency vendors for communications, design, and tactical support.
Drive and coordinate creative design and campaign deliverables with internal and external resources.
In collaboration with the Trade Shows & Events lead, lead EPE’s trade show strategy and budget development with the business unit leader.
Collaborate with business unit leaders and internal technical experts to define EPE products and services, customer relevance, and value propositions.

Location : This position will be located in our corporate office in Austin, TX, may consider highly qualified remote candidates
Travel : Occasional travel will be needed (25 % or less )
