Élan partners with the world's foremost private equity companies and legal/medical service organizations to provide leading consulting services in media, creative, lead intake, data science, and technology implementation. We focus largely on growing businesses through brand development and lead generation, specializing in the legal and medical industries.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the Élan team across various web development, web design, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) needs. You will maintain healthy relationships with technology, analytics, and media partners on campaign-specific needs while executing web development and SEO for Élan clients.
Web Development:
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Maintain and manage site DNS, web servers, email, etc.
- Manage and implement site tags to enable website tracking and reporting
- Implement website UI/UX and other design improvements through team collaboration
- Ensure website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular maintenance
- Collaborate with the media and analytics teams to implement tracking codes and other marketing technologies
SEO:
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using industry-standard tools
- Manage on-page optimization (title tags, meta descriptions, content optimization, etc.) and off-page optimization (link building, local SEO, etc.)
- Improve technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, schema markup, etc.)
- Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in web development and SEO
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Mass Communication or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (as well as the Google Docs Editors suite)
- Proficiency in WordPress and other CMS platforms
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of the Meta Conversions API is preferred
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Similarweb, Ahrefs)
- Strong communication, project management, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills required
- Collaborative leadership style, team-oriented; brings professionalism and business acumen in all aspects of your work
- The self-motivation to complete multiple tasks and projects on time
