Marketing Director, Lead Generation (Remote - US)

As the Marketing Director at Eight Digit Media, you will own the strategy and performance of lead generation efforts across client accounts. This leadership role requires deep expertise in direct-response marketing, with a strong focus on Meta advertising, funnel architecture, and marketing automation. You will lead a high-performing marketing team, oversee campaign execution, and ensure that paid media, content, and automation work together to drive qualified leads and measurable ROI. Success in this role demands both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a commitment to accountability, optimization, and exceptional client outcomes.

You are a T-shaped marketing leader with deep expertise in lead generation and a proven ability to build high-converting funnels for service-based businesses. You have launched campaigns, filled webinars, written compelling copy, and led teams that deliver measurable results. You bring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution experience.

You know how to connect strategy with execution through efficient implementation and have built systems that consistently attract and convert qualified prospects. Your hands-on expertise across Meta advertising, copywriting, funnel architecture, and marketing automation is proven, not theoretical.

Role Mission:

Own the strategy and performance of all lead generation efforts across client accounts. Build and optimize marketing funnels, lead a high-impact team, and ensure that paid media, automation, and content work together to drive tangible business outcomes.

What You’ll Own:

  • Lead generation strategy for financial advisors and estate planning clients.
  • Strategy development that accounts for compliance-sensitive messaging in financial services.
  • Paid media execution with a strong focus on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns.
  • Direction of copy for landing pages, ads, emails, and webinar scripts.
  • Campaign planning and execution for webinars and in-person seminars.
  • Oversight of marketing automation systems, including WordPress, ActiveCampaign, and Zapier.
  • Team leadership and performance management (with an emphasis on people development and accountability).
  • Funnel analytics, optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Client communications, including reporting, expectation management, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in direct-response marketing with a focus on lead generation.
  • Proven success with Meta advertising and paid traffic strategies for service-based businesses.
  • Hands-on experience building marketing funnels from strategy through execution.
  • Track record of building and managing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Meta Business Manager.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a test-and-optimize approach.
  • Clear communicator with experience managing client relationships, including difficult conversations and performance discussions.
  • US-based with the ability to maintain overlap with Central Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT).
  • Bonus: Experience in financial services marketing or working within compliance frameworks.

Who You Will Be Working With

As Marketing Director, you'll report directly to the CEO while collaborating closely with the VP of Operations and client success teams. You'll lead a marketing team responsible for implementing lead generation campaigns for our financial advisor and estate planning attorney clients.
