Senior Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team and help scale our healthcare technology platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building secure, compliant, and high-performance healthcare applications using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and GraphQL
• Develop and maintain robust frontend applications using React
• Architect and optimize AWS infrastructure for maximum performance and reliability
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and GDPR requirements
• Optimize application performance and memory usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in React.js and Node.js
• Extensive experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
• Proven track record of architecting and deploying applications on AWS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Deep understanding of software scaling principles and best practices
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience with HIPAA compliance
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and experience working in remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare software or EHR systems
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance requirements
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Background in implementing security measures for healthcare applications

Technical Skills

• Frontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js, GraphQL
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, CI/CD
• Database: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
