Senior Software Engineer

About the Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at efuse, your work will delight gaming communities around the world. You will have opportunities to work on full stack product development, including designing backend and frontend systems, working cross-team initiatives to lead the development and implementation of software strategies, and provide mentorship to your peers across the organization.We are looking for an experienced, impactful contributor who is passionate about creating amazing user experiences and is excited about building the next generation of gaming communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex features and projects, making architectural decisions and ensuring technical excellence.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration, influencing technical roadmaps, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and performance, proactively resolving bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• You have experience building web-scale software with modern frameworks and technologies "
• You can break down large ambiguous business objectives into smaller executable tasks
• You have demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects
• You possess a solid understanding of client-server architectures
• You are a thoughtful leader capable of mentoring a team of engineers
• You have extensive experience writing high-quality, high-impact, and well-tested code that is designed to scale
• You are an excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable solutions

Technical Proficiency

You have demonstrated technical proficiency with the following software stack:

• React / Next.js / TailwindCSS
• Node.js / NestJS / TypeScript
• PostgreSQL / sequelize / kysley
• GraphQL / REST
• AWS / Docker / Terraform / Kubernetes
• React Testing Library / Jest / Vitest / Playwright
• Github Actions / Vercel / Wordpress

Personal Skills

• You have a demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• You have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
• You are able to work flexible hours and weekends based on business needs.
• You are agile and adaptable through volatile, uncertain, changing, and ambiguous (VUCA) environments.
• You are a curious learner and inquirer with strong resource-finding and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000 annually
