Java Developer

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer with Angular expertise. This position will be responsible for the design, development, engineering and reengineering of software solutions for a large nationally used enterprise system in support of organizational supervision and regulation. Successful candidates will possess specialized technical skills in the domain of software engineering and demonstrate strong learning agility to pick up new technologies, as needed. More senior level candidates will demonstrate mastery in these capabilities and be capable of directing other technical resources through the development lifecycle from concept to solution delivery including architecture and design.

Key Activities

• Applies the principles of software engineering to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of solutions in support of applications, databases, test automation tools, and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products.
• API and Backend Development
• Demonstrates technical skill in Java, Spring Boot
• CI/CD tasks in PCF and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in Gitlab.
• Strong UI Development in Angular and React JS
• Performs peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines.
• Partners with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals.
• Reviews and analyzes business and technical requirements, and implements technical solutions to meet those requirements.
• Provides on-call support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident management, and service request management for supported products and environments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Typically requires at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Must have Strong Knowledge in Java, Spring Boot framework, Maven or Gradle, and Gitlab Repository.
• Strong Front End experience in Angular and React JS.
• Must have good hands experience actively working on implementing Rest Services,
• Experience with identifying and working on issues related to performance and Memory leaks.
• Worked on PCF cloud foundry, Kubernetes, AWS environments
• Must know how a Scrum team works and capable of getting embedded with the team with minimal training
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
