We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial-minded Digital Marketing Strategist to join our marketing services team.

This position is an integral part of the digital media strategy and media buying operations of Eduvantis’ marketing services team, and requires:

  • a minimum of 4 years of paid media experience across a wide variety of digital advertising platforms
  • organizational and project management skills,
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • active listening skills,

The paid media team works alongside our SEO and strategy consulting group in providing the top brands in higher education with a full range of SEM/SEO and growth strategy consulting services.

The ideal candidate will not only have deep expertise in paid media but will also have a track record of successful client-facing relationships. The successful candidate will have strong paid digital technical knowledge across a variety of paid advertising platforms, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently.

Core Responsibilities:

Advertising Campaign Management: Supports a portfolio of the company’s paid client accounts, ensuring they stay within scope and budget and meet project timelines.  For these accounts:

  • Supports account strategy formation and annual account planning, including:
  • Channel and tactic strategy, budget allocation and management, keyword strategy & targeting, account setup & campaign launches
  • Responsible for ongoing account optimization, monthly performance reporting, and implementation of all follow-ups.
  • Accountable for the quality of work product, ensuring campaign performance, client satisfaction, and account growth and retention.
  • Maintains knowledge of clients’ programs, goals and near-set competitors.

Key Account Support: Works hand-in-hand with Eduvantis’ Director of Paid Media to support a selection of key accounts (accounts in the top 10% of company revenue).

  • Supports the DPM in account strategy formation and annual account planning for assigned accounts, including target market & channel identification, budget allocation and management, keyword strategy & targeting, account setup & campaign launches
  • Responsible for ongoing account optimization, monthly performance reporting, and implementation of all follow-ups.

Reporting, Insights, and Client Collaboration: Prepares and presents performance reports for assigned accounts, under the supervision of team leadership.

  • Responsible for insight generation through digital performance data analysis. These insights should be grounded in client goals, data trends over time, and performance relative to company/industry benchmarks.
  • Creates and updates paid media reports that include executive summaries & insights, detailing relevant trends and prospect learnings.
  • Develops agendas for client meetings based on goals, account priorities, and ongoing work in progress.
  • Leads digital campaign performance client calls with professional presentations and slides as appropriate.

Creative and Ad Testing: For assigned accounts, oversees and performs creative refresh and creative testing.

  • Supports the creation and management of an ad creative refresh schedule per client that includes A|B testing as appropriate.
  • Leads the development of creative/media briefs with key messages, goals of campaigns by channel and client points of distinction highlighted for accounts led.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of paid media experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak with authority and expertise and command a Zoom / virtual presentation
  • Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking abilities; ability to effectively work within a team environment
  • A strong desire to learn, to be pushed to achieve excellence, and a passion for working with clients
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Google Ads & Google Analytics Certified, proficiency with a wide variety of digital advertising platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Spotify, TikTok, etc.)
  • Good understanding of media analytics tools
  • Numbers oriented, experience managing media budgets of varying sizes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), G Suite (Spreadsheets, Docs, Slides), Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio (or comparable tool)
  • Higher education experience strongly preferred
