ServiceNow Developer (ITSM/CMDB/CSDM)

Our client holds a prominent position in the European utilities sector, dedicated to seamlessly connecting people with energy and providing customer-centric solutions designed for user convenience.

The company develops cloud-based state-of-the art software application in different areas such as IoT, energy management, RPA & Machine Learning.

This role is available only in Bucharest and involves an employment contract (CIM).

Responsibilities:

• Drive CMDB/CSDM Development: Lead the design and evolution of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring alignment with cloud-readiness goals.
• Bridge Business and Technical Needs: Collaborate closely with the Configuration Management Product Owner and Solution Architect to translate business requirements into actionable development stories.
• Integrate with ITSM & Business Processes: Ensure effective integration of Configuration Items (CIs) into ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management) and commercial workflows (service portfolio, contract management).
• Collaborate with Implementation Partners: Work alongside ServiceNow implementation partners to map and implement CMDB requirements across our client’s enterprise ITSM platform.
• Identify and Drive Improvements: Participate in regular reviews to uncover opportunities for process and platform enhancements, initiating changes and new projects where needed.
• Ensure Quality Documentation: Deliver clear, comprehensive documentation for all integrations, configurations, and technical specifications.
• Support DevOps Transformation: Contribute to the team’s ongoing DevOps journey, embracing agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Skills & Requirements:

• Extensive ServiceNow Experience: Several years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, backed by relevant certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Test Management, and CMDB Micro-Certification.
• Deep ITSM & CMDB Expertise: Strong background in ServiceNow ITSM, with a focus on CMDB, ITOM Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Integration & Development Proficiency: Proven experience as a ServiceNow developer, with in-depth knowledge of CMDB integration technologies and best practices.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Knowledge: Solid understanding of traditional data center and network environments, along with expertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Agile & DevOps Mindset: Practical experience working in agile and DevOps environments, with a focus on collaboration, iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management Capability: Skilled in managing complex tasks and projects with a structured and goal-oriented approach.
