School of PE (a Division of EduMind), the premiere learning and development partner in engineering, is seeking a marketing director to lead strategy, execution and market share growth for the company. This role will also lead a talented, dedicated team with expertise in SEM/SEO, creative design, copyrighting, and analytics.
The Marketing Director is the most senior marketing member of the School of PE (SoPE) team thus working with executive leadership regularly. The following will be the primary duties and responsibilities of this role:
LEADERSHIP
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Plan the annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing strategies to achieve SoPE’s key marketing and business objectives
Work with executive team to plan the annual marketing budget to achieve target goals.
Report out to executive team on key wins, performance vs. budget, and marketing analytics to drive strategy.
Marketing Team Management
Model the core values of School of PE (“Be Honest, Be Respectful, Be Student First”)
Keep marketing team functioning productively and efficiently across all key areas of marketing (media, email, website, copywriting, B2B support, graphic design, brand)
Manage 5 team members as direct reports
Work with executives and other business unit leads to make sure marketing is supporting entire organization effectively
Agency/Vendor Management
Maintain relationships with all vendors and agencies
Set goals and objectives for each agency and review regularly.
OPERATIONAL
Promotions & Pricing
Stay on top of B2C and B2B pricing in the market to find optimal pricing for SoPE’s B2C and B2B products & services.
Track competitive actions for opportunities to maintain and/or grow market share
Lead pricing and promotions in coordination with leadership & marketing team.
Paid Media
Plan, manage, & optimize across all paid media channels including Google, Bing, Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc. to drive B2C sales and B2B lead generation.
Utilize marketing campaign analytics to drive decisions and strategy.
Continuously focus on our current target audiences and identify new opportunities as they arise.
Email/CRM/SMS
Manage all cohorts, including existing students, abandoned carts, preview students, and website visitors.
Audit and update, as needed, all emails sent to each cohort annually
Manage email communications through Klaviyo with all cohorts around all sales events and special promotions.
Analytics/Data
Track media performance across all channels using digital tools for real-time reporting (Power BI, Looker Studio, etc.)
Monitor all campaigns across all channels and make modifications, as needed, to optimize spend while maximizing ROAS
Gather data across all platforms (email, media, etc) and share key findings and strategic adjustments in executive leadership meetings.
